As we head into the final month of 2025, we want to wish you a joyful and restful holiday season. It's been an incredible year of growth, and there's plenty of exciting news to share as we close it out.
We've officially launched our port services following successful projects in Singapore and Prince Rupert, and this week I'll be in New Orleans presenting on our port operations at Underwater Intervention and the International WorkBoat Show. I'm looking forward to connecting with industry partners and showcasing how our DataXplorer™ USVs are transforming sustainable harbor operations.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We're grateful for this community and excited for what 2026 will bring.
Warm regards, Julie Angus CEO & Co-founder
Welcoming Ports to the Operations Fleet
We’re thrilled to share that Open Ocean Robotics is now officially offering uncrewed surface vehicle services to ports and harbours. After successful projects with the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore and the Port of Prince Rupert, we’ve seen firsthand how our solar-powered DataXplorer™ can bring powerful benefits to port operations.
From hydrographic surveys and marine mammal monitoring to real-time vessel tracking, our USV has shown it can deliver reliable data and insights while being zero-emission and remotely operated. Supporting ports in becoming more efficient, sustainable, and tech-forward is a natural evolution for us, and we’re excited to grow in this space.
In mid-November, our team had the pleasure of taking part in Discover Tectoria, a showcase of local innovation hosted by VIATEC in Victoria, BC. We were proud to represent the ocean tech community and share what we’ve been building right here in our hometown.
From curious students to seasoned professionals, so many of you stopped by to ask about our uncrewed surface vehicles, explore the tech behind ocean monitoring, and talk about the future of clean marine innovation. It’s events like these that remind us how lucky we are to be part of such a supportive and forward-thinking community.
Thanks to everyone who came by—your questions, enthusiasm, and encouragement mean the world to us!
